Bundle Me Up!

Brrrrr…. It is cold Poodles!!

30° and dropping. For California that's downright chilly!! (I'm sure the rest of the country will laugh at me! Ha!)

I love the idea of winter, but not the actuality. Sweaters, fires, warm drinks… the fall of a gentle snow outside; it all sounds wonderful. But the frosty wind that comes along with it! Ugh!

So imagine how delighted I was to find the warmest of warm coats, right before I jaunted off to Portland.

I feel like Jackie Kennedy!
Vintage fabulous coat!
New cute and comfy Bettie Page shoes!!
Awww feel the sun!
I guess I can endure winter a little while longer. Hehe!

  1. Oh what a wonderful coat and you look just wonderful in it!

30 degree temps are cold for Cali!
We're having a warm front so it's back up to the 20s instead of ZERO!

Good to hear from you Corilynn! ♥

    1. Aww thanks Daffny! The skirt is actually a dress by Bernie Dexter. It's her Winter Wonderland print and I love it! ;)

  4. Your coat is SO beautiful, I love the fur trim - very Jackie indeed! Also love that you're wearing the Bernie Dexter winter print dress, I'm going to get a lot of wear out of mine this festive season :P
I must say I am pretty jealous of how cold it is on your side of the world, I could do with some of that!

  5. Look at you, all fabulously stylish and ready to face whatever winter throws your way! That coat is the height of mid-century cold weather sophistication - very early Jackie, I agree! I could easily see it on the shoulders of Grace Kelly, too.

*PS* Thank you very much for your awesome blog comments this week, honey!

    1. Thank you Jess! I saw it in the window of a local store, and fell instantly in love! It was just right for Portland's chilly wind, and for the cold front we've been experiencing here.
I can't wait for you to see the other amazing things I found in Portland! Retail therapy at it's finest. :)

    1. Thank you! :) I am obsessed with those Bettie Page shoes! I have them in blue and black, and I wish I had every shoe in the collection!! Unfortunately, I bought them in Portland and had to consider the whole "how to get them home" problem. Ugh! ;)
