Perfect Poodles!

It's a poodle kind of day!!!

I pinned on a new poodle pin (purchased in Portland), and headed out the door.

The cute fuzzy guy garnered more attention than I thought he would... really wish I had done my make-up. HaHa!

Why do I always think of poodles as males? Weird given that they are often pink!

I went with Husband to check out some Midcentury furniture, and found this little guy instead!

He is a bit chipped, but for $2 that is ok!!
He is still adorable!
My trio is complete! So very exciting!!

I feel like I should name these lil' guys;
any suggestions?
Thus, being in a poodle kind of mood, I thought I'd do some online shopping. Hehe!!

Look at these adorable fellows!!

The handbag hoarder inside me WANTS this bag!!!

What a doll! And the girl is cute too! HA!

This fellow matches the wall plaques I already own, but he has a towel hook!
Is it too much to have three??

Look at this poodle pink perfection!
Handmade by the immensely talented Cindy of Retro Revival!
Check out her delightful array of caps on etsy now!
And we can't forget these Lefton Toodles!! A Maltese?! Please!
Obviously Toodles is a Poodle! Haha!!
These cuties are available from one of my favorite etsy shops,
Kitty Kat Dance!
Ahhh window shopping via the internet.. isn't it fun?! Especially when shopping for poodles!!! Hehe!

  1. Vintage poodle cuteness overload!!!!! Oh my gosh, this post truly is the dose of happy I needed this morning (we had a death in the family yesterday and a grey cloud is hanging over Tony and I right now).

Your fluffy poodle brooch is absolutely darling! I just love vintage fur brooches like that. I tried to hard to win one that was of a cherry branch on eBay several months back, but was outbid by someone with far deeper pockets. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for another.

Many sweet thanks for your wonderfully nice trio of comments today, honey, I really appreciate them and hope you're having a fantastic week.

    1. I am so very sorry to hear that Jessica! It has been a rough couple weeks for me as well; our close friend's daughter was found to have a brain tumor. She is only a wee two year old and so darling and dear to us. Her operation was this week and thankfully a success. She is still in the hospital but doing well. I just haven't felt like posting til I heard she was feeling better. My heart goes out to you and Tony.
I will keep my eye open for a fluffy brooch for you! A cherry branch?

  2. This is definately a "happy" place to come! Love your poodle finds! We have a big standard poodle named lily! She is adorable....and yes, I still see poodle figurines and brooches and refer to the poodles as "him".

Love the bright light and happy blog you have created - makes me smile.

    1. Awww... Thank you!! I like to keep things light and fun! I've always been a big fan of movies from the 40's and early 50's; they all had happy endings! ;)
Poodle figurines fall into two categories for me- pink french poodles named fifi and gigi, hehe, and then the rest are male. I don't know what it is, but it's always happens! ;)

    1. I LOVE novelty pins! It is a problem... for my Husband, not me! Ha! ;) The mink poodle in this post is so soft and cute, I couldn't resist him! And the shop manager gave me a discount plus no sales tax! I miss Portland shopping! ;)
