  5. Yes, definitely love to read and "kindred spirit" so maybe I'm some sort of poodle/minx/kitten mix ;) I haven't read Ryan's Hand is a million years. I've got to again soon!

  6. I like this blog! I like poodles (dogs) and anything with poodles on it. I have socks, pj's, jewelry, ornaments, stationary, etc. I wear red lipstick, have tights in different colors (if they count as stockings), make pretty aprons, like "Fly Me To The Moon", & "Breakfast At Tiffany's". I'm following.

  7. Does having a large collection of handmade aprons (from vintage patterns) hanging next to my oven count? I always forget to put one on until that first spill or spatter. I must admit that I tend to avoid movies made after WWII but I have every single Busby Berkeley movie on DVD, as well as a growing collection of pre-Code and silent movies. Sorry about this one, but I can't stand Meg Ryan rom-coms. If I want a rom-com, I'll watch anything with Joan Blondell and James Cagney. Red lippy, oh yes! I sometimes switch to hot pink, like Cherries in Snow or MAC Rebel in the summer, though. A cocktail with cherries? No, but you may have as many olives as you would like. Here's another secret: I've had to start wearing wigs every day so no more curlers, but I do shop the ethnic stores for the most vintage-looking wigs. I guess I'm only half a poodle.

  8. It sounds like you are one amazing vintage gal! I love James Cagney, and a dirty martini with triple olives is one of my favorite cocktails. Cherries in the Snow is gorgeous! My dear friend wears only wigs and she is one hot mama! And after Meg Ryan cut her hair and did weird things to her lips, I stopped watching! So I'm going to have to disagree, because I think you are FULLY a poodle!! ;) Thanks for your awesome comment!!!

  9. Hey I was wondering if there is a copyright on the image of the woman holding a pot, in black and white (the second image)? I only ask because I wanted to use the image, but cannot if there is a copyright on it.
