Procrastinators can do vintage too...

So I thought about writing a blog. And I thought about it, and I thought about it. For years. And in true procrastinator style, I never followed through. I'd see a cute blog online or read an entry on one of my go-to sites, and I'd think, "Hey, I should do this!" But then I wouldn't.

Until now.

What changed you ask? Why now?
Something happened that revolutionized my world and I had to share!

Now, I love vintage style. Hair, makeup, nails, clothes... You name it, I adore it. But being the aforementioned procrastinator that I am, it's not always easy for me to actually do a true vintage style look. They take time. They take effort.

And all these years I have had one true nemesis to vintage hair styling... Pin curls.

My absolute downfall. So stinkin' hard to do. Never turn out right. Wanna chop my arms off by the time I'm done. Take FOREVER! So, so not worth it.

Until now.

I read on a couple different sites about this awesome tool called a sculpture pin curler. I want it. I have to have it. I'm getting it TODAY! Or maybe tomorrow...

It will be mine
So for now I'm using something else that I read about that does the trick. The trick to easy pin curls. That's right; EASY pin curls. So worth it.

What is this miracle?

A mascara tube. Yep, I said a Mascara Tube.

Seriously?!! Where has this been all my life? Or at least for the last five years?!

For the first time ever this procrastinating gal had the vintage look she'd been searching for, without all the work. And a reason to start this blog.

So with no further blah blah blahing... coming up next, my very first tutorial.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy, Pin Curls.

Toodles Poodles!
